We’re candidate.fyi - the hiring experience platform. We’re bringing the Apple store experience to hiring. We launched in early 2023 and are powering the hiring experience for world-class companies like Tropic, MariaDB, and Regal.
We’re Kyle Connors and Chris Connors, brothers who bring a complementary skillset to the leadership table. Kyle is a former CTO/VP of Engineering at several venture-backed companies, responsible for hiring 50+ people and scaling from $10m to $60m ARR. Chris is a top-performing enterprise sales executive who closed the largest deal in Yext’s history and was previously at Google.

Problem: Employers lack the necessary means to provide proper transparency and communication to candidates throughout the hiring process. This results in a poor candidate experience, severely impacting the entire hiring funnel.
Market: Candidate.fyi is going after a $50B+ TAM, starting with employers with over fifty employees worldwide.
Solution: candidate.fyi is the missing candidate experience layer that helps companies attract, win and retain talent. It integrates with the leading applicant tracking systems (ATSs) allowing hiring teams to engage with candidates more efficiently to reduce support, close faster, and increase acceptance rates.
Team: Kyle is a former CTO/VP of Engineering at several venture-backed companies, responsible for hiring 50+ people and scaling from $10m to $60m ARR, and Chris is a top-performing enterprise sales executive who closed the largest deal in Yext’s history and was previously at Google. Connor Wilson is our Head of Engineering, and Stephan Appiah rounds out the team as a software engineer.
Recent Success:
Connors Brothers: Implementing customer feedback! We work very closely with our customers and are always brainstorming on new features that can make their lives easier. Our early adopters are obsessing over the product and getting it out to their candidates. Launching an HR tech product in this current market is no easy feat, but we’re driving through the current headwinds and adding amazing customers who care deeply about the candidate experience.
Recent Struggle:
Connors Brothers: Bandwidth! We’re a small but mighty team. There are not enough hours in the day to do everything we want. We have so many new customers that we had to waitlist our product and only bring on a few new ones each month. The most important thing to us is that everyone has an incredible experience using our product.
Founder Advice:
Connors Brothers: Find your first ten customers and listen to them! There are no better champions than your initial block of customers. These are people who were willing to take a bet on you and your product. Ensure they have an incredible experience and never leave them waiting too long if they need support or have a question.
