Startup Spotlight: Redbird
Problem: Building and running a 'modern' data stack involves stitching together multiple disconnected tools with a high cost and lots of engineering effort. Any new data/data science project requires business stakeholders to rely on hard-to-come-by data engineers or engage in manual, "shadow" analytics workflows.
Market: By many estimates, there are over 1M organizations that use data analytics software today yet have inadequate data engineering teams to support business stakeholder needs. This is a >$50B TAM opportunity, growing 15% YoY.
Solution: Redbird is an AI-powered data analytics platform that automates and simplifies your data workflows. Redbird empowers teams to do data collection using AI / RPA, automated analytics and data science, always-on reporting, and data-driven conversational chats in minutes, without writing a single line of code.
Team: Deren was the former Chief Product Officer at Saks Fifth Avenue where he had deep experience within large enterprises that have the data problems Redbird is solving. Erin is ex-McKinsey and Nielsen, where he helped hundreds of Fortune 500 companies set up data analytics capabilities and run data science projects.

Tavgac: It's always difficult to build out a robust HR organization. Most startups don't invest enough in HR, which can hinder growth in the long term.
Founder Advice:
Tavgac: In the early days, choose your early customers wisely, meet with them regularly, and do things that don't scale. You'll learn a huge amount in these early conversations and identify opportunities to improve the product based on their feedback. As you scale, your future customers will thank you!
