Startup Spotlight: FindRx
Problem: The United States experienced its peak drug shortages within the first three months of 2024, with 323 medications in short supply. Patients are left with the option to call around or visit multiple pharmacies to find medications in shortage.
Market: We help patients who are taking ADHD medications, weight loss injections, diabetic injections, pain medicine, emergency contraceptives, HIV medication, COVID medication, and any other medications that patients have a hard time finding from their local pharmacy.
Solution: We utilize offshore call centers to help locate patients' medications from nearby pharmacies, and we are also developing an AI-powered cold-calling system to enhance our scalability
Team: Our team consists of Jay, a future pharmacist leading the company; Solomon, our chief designer ensuring we maintain a strong customer-facing image; and Mia, our content writer who contributes pharmaceutical expertise. Will handles business development, and Tony supports us with financials.
